Meet the Founder

Ramatu Kandakai is a Brand Marketer, Speaker, and Personal Branding Consultant with more than a decade of experience across consulting, consumer goods, healthcare, and the nonprofit sectors. She has led brand strategy for global organizations at SC Johnson, Ernst & Young, Korn Ferry, and more. Most recently, she served as Brand Strategy Manager at Humana and a Marketing Advisor for the University of Chicago’s Duality Accelerator Program. With experience in both entrepreneurial ventures and large-cap organizations, Ramatu brings a distinct lens to brand development, storytelling, and strategic growth.

She has led workshops in partnership with Twitch, DoorDash, and Northwestern University, and spoken at the Salesforce Connections Conference, where she was highlighted as a Marketing Trailblazer.

She has collaborated with industry groups, including the African American Marketing Association (AAMA) and the Association of National Advertisers (ANA). Her insights have been featured in publications such as Afrotech and Yahoo News.

In 2024, she taught “The Psychology of Personal Brands in Media” at Johns Hopkins University, where she also earned her MBA.
